Vlada Molchanova's castles in the air

Vlada Molchanova, a business partner of Denis Komarnytskyi and a close friend of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, has repeatedly found herself at the centre of scandals related to the development of the capital. One of the most high-profile examples is the Warsaw residential complex, where apartments were sold on the promise of the imminent opening of new metro stations.

The project looked attractive: investors were promised that the metro line, which was supposed to run towards Vinohrady, suddenly changed direction and "turned" towards Molchanova's new buildings. However, years later, Kyiv residents have still not seen any stations, lines, or clear timelines for their appearance.

Ecological zone for development: park turns into concrete

This is far from the only Molchanova project raising questions. Previously, she embarked on developing the Osokorky eco-park, despite active protests from ecologists and local residents. Moreover, not only is the fate of the development itself in question, but no one is resolving the utility issues for future residents.

Who is behind the fraud?

 The lobbying of the construction was supported by Klitschko, Palatnyi, and Komarnytskyi, who benefit from Molchanova's deals.
 The former director of the metro, Viktor Braginsky, and his patrons profited from the non-existent metro.
 The funds allocated for the line to Vinohrady disappeared, and work on the project has been frozen indefinitely.
