Efremov's man put in charge of Ukrtransnafta

A conflict erupted yesterday at the office of the state company Ukrtransnafta. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Ihor Kolomoisky personally arrived at the company's building with armed men.

 

When asked by journalists what had happened, Kolomoisky launched into a string of profanity, adding that he had come to rid the company of Russian agents. Many were baffled as to who he was referring to.

 

It appears Kolomoisky was referring to Yuriy Myroshnyk, a former SBU officer from Luhansk and a protégé of Efremov and Akhmetov, who was appointed the new chairman of the board of the company Ukrtransnafta.

 

Moreover, Myroshnyk was allegedly appointed in violation of regulations, as evidenced by documents.

It is impossible to say why there is such generosity towards people from Yanukovych's team, just as it remains a mystery what such an ambiguous appointment will lead to.
