ATO participants accused of Buzyna murder

Information emerged today about the detention of the alleged perpetrators of the murder of journalist Oles Buzyna. Law enforcement did not disclose who these individuals are. A court hearing to determine a preventive measure for the suspects was held today. Ukrainian MPs attended the session, including Ihor Mosiychuk, who announced his presence. He also stated that ATO participants Andriy Medvedko from the "Kyiv 2" battalion and Denys Polishchuk, a platoon commander in the UNSO battalion, are accused of Buzyna's murder.

Міліція каже, що має незаперечні докази причетності саме цих патріотів до вбивства українофоба Бузини. (The police say they have irrefutable evidence that these specific patriots are involved in the murder of the Russophile Buzyna.)

Самі патріоти категорично відкидають висунуті ім звинувачення. Більше того стверджують, що в день вбивства Бузини їх не було в столиці. (The patriots themselves categorically reject the accusations brought against them. Moreover, they claim that they were not in the capital on the day of Buzyna's murder.)

Я ж вважаю, що тих хто ліквідував україноненависника Олеся Бузину варто нагородити званням Героя Украіни (I, for my part, believe that those who eliminated the Russophile Oles Buzyna should be awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine)

Whether these two are truly involved in the murder of the controversial journalist, one hopes the investigation will clarify the facts, rather than simply pinning the crime on unpopular individuals.
