Unknowns shoot cat in Poltava

On New Year's Eve in Poltava, unknown individuals shot a cat presumably of the British breed. The animal was found on 3 January in the area of Yu. Kondratiuk Street in a horrific condition.

Caring citizens took the cat to a veterinary clinic on their own, where it had a temperature of 34 degrees.

Following the examination, 26 bullets were found in the animal's head, and a pelvic fracture was diagnosed.

It is presumed that the cat was shot point-blank in the head, and its pelvic bones were broken while it was being held to prevent it from escaping. What the animal experienced at that moment is terrifying to imagine.

As a result of the brutal actions of humans, the cat did not go out seeking help, but instead hid in a basement for 3 days, where it stiffened.

Doctors are now fighting for its life.
