Shooting with fatalities in Odesa region

Tensions have resurfaced in Odesa region. A shooting occurred in a roadside bar near the city of Tatarbunary.

A conflict unexpectedly erupted between two groups of men at a venue on the Odesa-Reni highway, escalating into a shooting. As a result, one person died at the scene, while three others were hospitalised at the nearest medical facility. Two of the victims subsequently died in hospital, and one remains in a critical condition, with doctors fighting to save his life.

The remaining participants in the tragedy managed to flee the scene before law enforcement officers arrived. A criminal case has been opened, an investigation is underway, and measures are being taken to locate and detain all individuals involved in the conflict.

The identities of the deceased are being established.
