Clash between criminals and police in Odesa

An armed clash between representatives of the criminal underworld and the police took place in Arkadia on the night of 26 to 27 June. As a result of the incident, Patrol Service First Platoon Commander Roman Trufkin was killed, and another police officer was injured. New Odesa Regional State Administration head Mikhail Saakashvili arrived at the scene in the morning. Investigative actions are underway.
