Latvia reports damage to undersea cable between Latvia and Sweden

It was reported today that an undersea fibre-optic cable connecting Latvia and Sweden has been damaged. According to information provided by LSM, the incident was caused by external interference.

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa responded swiftly to the situation, convening an emergency meeting with ministers and heads of relevant services.
