Former father-in-law of Leonid Kuchma, 83-year-old Anatoly Franchuk, was beaten and robbed in Simferopol. The former Prime Minister of Crimea lost $137,000 and 1 million rubles in the raid.

The bandits also seized icons, gold, souvenirs and other valuables from Franchuk.

Following the occupation of Crimea, the first father-in-law of Elena Kuchma remained to live in his Simferopol palace. The oligarch kept his valuables at home. Naturally, not all of them. However, the robbers were satisfied with this haul.
