Rescued green monkey arrives at Kyiv Zoo

A young female green monkey, rescued by volunteers, has been housed at Kyiv Zoo. She is currently undergoing quarantine in the veterinary hospital, where specialists are assessing her condition and preparing her for further treatment and rehabilitation.

The news of the new resident has already attracted the attention of zoo visitors. The monkey faces an important stage ahead – adaptation and getting acquainted with her conspecifics. Once all necessary procedures are completed, she will be able to join the group, where the process of her social integration will begin.
