Weapon dealer detained in Khmelnytskyi

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a weapon dealer. The offender was selling weapons directly at the railway station in Khmelnytskyi.

 

“У Хмельницькому, на центральному залізничному вокзалі, співробітники #СБУ спільно з міліцією затримали торгівця зброєю.

22-річний зловмисник планував виїхати до Сумської області та реалізувати ручні протитанкові гранатомети, гранати «РГД-5» із запалами та набої 9-го калібру.

Під час обшуку вилучено 336 патронів калібру 7,62 мм та 5,45 мм, ще одну гранату «РГД-5» і гранату «Ф-1», а також два штик-ножі до АК.

Розпочато кримінальне провадження за ст. 263 Кримінального кодексу України” (In Khmelnytskyi, at the central railway station, officers of the #SBU, jointly with the police, detained a weapon dealer. The 22-year-old offender planned to travel to Sumy Oblast to sell handheld anti-tank grenade launchers, RGD-5 grenades with fuses, and 9mm cartridges. During the search, 336 cartridges of 7.62 mm and 5.45 mm calibre, another RGD-5 grenade and an F-1 grenade, as well as two AK bayonets, were seized. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), reports the Security Service of Ukraine.

 

This is not the first detention of weapon dealers in the last few days. A few days ago in Dnipro, police officers involved in weapons trafficking were detained.
