Verdict handed down in Germany in case of murder of nine-year-old girl

A German court has sentenced 37-year-old Moldovan citizen Andrey P. to life imprisonment for the murder of nine-year-old Ukrainian girl Valeriya.

According to Bild, the crime was classified as particularly serious, which virtually rules out the possibility of early release after 15 years of imprisonment.

According to the investigation, the convicted man had previously been in a relationship with the victim's mother. A few days before the tragedy, the woman cut off all contact with him, which, in the court's view, may have been the motive for the crime.
