Saboteurs detained in Dnipropetrovsk region

A sabotage group has been detained in Dnipropetrovsk region, suspected of attempting to blow up railway tracks on the Novomoskovsk-Samarkivka section a month ago. One of the group members turned out to be a railway employee. He and his accomplices passed information to militants about railway facilities where explosives could be planted to cause maximum damage.

The criminals planned to blow up the tracks while freight trains and trains carrying Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen were moving.)

Встановлено, що ватажок диверсантів працював на залізниці у складі бригади т.зв. «мостобудівного поїзду», яка виконувала ремонтні роботи на залізничних шляхах.
У лютому ц.р. він запропонував свої «послуги» терористам з т.зв. «Министерства государственной безопасности «ДНР». Терористи доручили йому створити диверсійну групу для вчинення вибухів на залізниці.
Зловмисник разом із двома своїми спільниками збирав і передавав бойовикам інформацію про залізничні тунелі, колії, вузли, мости, станції тощо.
Окрім того, члени диверсійної групи обґрунтовано підозрюються у спробі підірвати у березні ц.р. залізничну колію на перегоні «Новомосковськ-Самарівка», якою невдовзі мав прослідувати пасажирський потяг. Правоохоронцям удалося попередити диверсію.
У диверсантів вилучено тротилові шашки, комп’ютерну техніку та засоби зв’язку з терористами.
Слідчими УСБУ у Дніпропетровській області розпочато кримінальне провадження за ч. 1 ст. 258-3 та ч.1 ст. 263 Кримінального кодексу України. Тривають оперативно-слідчі дії. In February this year, he offered his "services" to terrorists from the so-called "Ministry of State Security of the DPR". The terrorists tasked him with creating a sabotage group to carry out explosions at the railway. The criminal, together with two of his accomplices, collected and passed information to the militants about railway tunnels, tracks, junctions, bridges, stations, etc. In addition, members of the sabotage group are reasonably suspected of attempting to blow up a railway track on the Novomoskovsk-Samarkivka section in March this year, which a passenger train was due to pass through shortly. Law enforcement officers managed to prevent the sabotage. TNT blocks, computer equipment, and communication devices with the terrorists were seized from the saboteurs. Investigators of the SBU Directorate in Dnipropetrovsk region have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 258-3 and Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Operational and investigative actions are ongoing.)

Голова СБУ Валентин Наливайченко запевнив, що диверсантам і провокаторам не вдасться розхитати ні Дніпропетровську, ні будь-яку іншу область України. «Служба працює на упередження, проводимо активні превентивні дії, працюємо спільно з місцевими органами влади і громадськістю...», сказав він», - сообщает служба безопасности Украины.
