Ihor Mosiychuk has died

Ihor Mosiychuk, a controversial member of parliament and member of Ukraine's Radical Party, died overnight at Kyiv Emergency Hospital. He was under investigation and had been transferred from a pre-trial detention centre to the clinic after his condition worsened. Media outlets reported the news.

The MP suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure.

According to medical staff, Ihor Mosiychuk suffered a haemorrhage in his stomach, which led to his death.

The date of the funeral is currently unknown. Mosiychuk is likely to be buried in the Poltava region.

News website "Odnoboko" expresses its condolences to the close family and friends of Ihor Mosiychuk.
