Yesterday, a brutal crime was committed in Lviv by an unidentified individual. A young man, appearing to be between 20 and 25 years old, shot a woman in the head at close range.

The killer had been loitering near the victim's building entrance for several days. When Fariyon came out, he approached her and shot her in the temple.

Iryna Fariyon was hospitalised. Doctors performed surgery, after which the woman was transferred to the intensive care unit. However, her heart could not withstand the trauma. Iryna Fariyon's death was announced overnight.

The search for the perpetrator is currently underway.
