Oles Buzina killed

A few minutes ago, information appeared on social media about the murder of journalist, writer and former editor-in-chief of the "Segodnya" publication Oles Buzina.

“Тільки що застрелили Олеся Бузину... Прямо в подвір'ї біля будинку. Вистріли чули всі. зараз повний двір міліції” (Just now Oles Buzina was shot... Right in the courtyard near the house. Everyone heard the shots. The courtyard is now full of police), - eyewitnesses report on social media.

According to a source in law enforcement agencies, Buzina was shot near the entrance to his own building at 58 Degtyarevskaya Street. Police are currently working at the scene.

"Just now on Degtyarevskaya Street, near house number 58, from a dark blue Ford Focus, the notoriously famous journalist Oles Buzina was shot.

The car's number plates were either Latvian or Belarusian. Definitely not Ukrainian.

Urgent request to all drivers in Kyiv: call the police if you see a car with similar characteristics fighting or standing still on the street.

It seems that the shooting of witnesses in the Anti-Maidan case is continuing.

Anyone who was involved in the organisation and financing of the Anti-Maidan or other unlawful actions against the Maidan and feels a threat to their life is requested to contact law enforcement agencies so as not to follow the path of Kalashnikov and Buzina", - Anton Gerashchenko confirmed the information about the murder of Buzina.

Oles Buzina has recently held an active pro-Russian position and has repeatedly appeared on Russian channels, where he criticised the Ukrainian authorities. 

Many are convinced that Buzina had something to tell the investigation about the previous authorities and their actions.
