Moskal will have a month to rein in regional barons, says Gerashchenko

Confirmation has emerged today of the upcoming appointment of head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, the “scourge of Luhansk region,” Hennadiy Moskal.

According to Anton Gerashchenko, Moskal will have no more than a month to restore order in the region, halt smuggling flows, and put criminal groups in their place.

“Hennadiy Moskal will be appointed governor of Zakarpattia.

I am confident that similar changes will also take place in the law enforcement structures of Zakarpattia region, which have demonstrated their inability to stop smuggling flows and allowed the possibility of an armed conflict to arise.

Hennadiy Moskal will have at most a month to sort out the situation, rein in regional barons, and ensure that reckless smugglers are held accountable.

It is equally important that a tough and effective leader be appointed to replace Hennadiy Moskal in Luhansk region, capable of coordinating the fight against terrorism and the restoration of the region’s economy,” Gerashchenko wrote on his Facebook page.
