Tourism in the Carpathians hits record highs

The winter season in the Carpathians is hitting record levels of visitor numbers: the number of tourists choosing western regions of Ukraine for their holidays has increased by 40% compared to last year. 

The growth is particularly noticeable in popular resorts such as Bukovel, where the average length of stay for guests during the New Year holidays was 5-8 nights.

It is noted that the number of group bookings has risen significantly, and hotels have recorded booking levels comparable to those seen before the start of the full-scale invasion. Experts link this influx to an improvement in the general mood in the country and an increase in the supply of tourism services.
