Turkish low-cost carrier announces launch of nearly 30 new routes from Ukraine

According to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure, an agreement has been reached with low-cost carrier Atlasjet Ukraine to open 29 international and domestic routes. Lviv will be the base airport.

 

The Ukrainian subsidiary of the well-known Turkish company will begin operating the new routes from the start of summer. Ticket booking will be available from next month.

 

The list of new destinations for low-cost carrier Atlasjet is indeed impressive – it includes all the most popular European routes, such as Kyiv-Amsterdam, Kyiv-Paris, and others, as well as major resorts.

 

However, it remains a mystery how the low-cost carrier obtained permission for these routes, given that under international agreements, only one carrier is allowed per route, and the quota has been fully allocated to the well-known Ukrainian airline.
