Trudeau warns Canadians of difficult times ahead

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed his compatriots with a warning about potential difficult times that may arrive in the coming weeks. He stated that he does not intend to hide reality: "Наша страна может столкнуться с серьезными вызовами в ближайшем будущем" (Our country may face serious challenges in the near future).

The cause of this was the threats from US President Donald Trump, who announced that from 1 February he would impose a 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico. Given that a large part of Canadian production (approximately 75%) is oriented towards exports to the US, the Canadian economy is set to face significant trials.
