Trump bans gender change for minors

Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at protecting minors from medical interventions related to gender change. The document prohibits the use of federal funds to finance such procedures.

In addition, the president ordered the development of additional measures aimed at preventing surgical operations and hormone therapy applied to children.

The official statement emphasises that puberty blockers and hormone therapy can lead to irreversible consequences, including infertility. The document also mentions the high risks of plastic surgery, which is accompanied by severe complications, significant tissue damage, and the need for lifelong medical support.
