According to the latest news, Donald Trump has announced the introduction of a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminium imports into the US. These new tariffs will apply to all countries and will take effect this week.

The US president’s decision is part of a strategy aimed at enhancing the country’s economic security.

Trump also stated his intention to introduce “reciprocal tariffs” for those states that levy high tariffs on American goods.

His statement notes that the situation in which the US does not levy tariffs while other countries impose significant fees (up to 130%) cannot continue.
