Trump is a very predictable politician

German Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz described Donald Trump as a “very predictable leader” (очень предсказуемого лидера) with a clear agenda who can push Europe to implement necessary reforms more quickly.

Merz expressed the view that Trump’s return could serve as a “final call to action” (последним призывом к действиям) for the European Union. 

In his words, this would give the EU a chance to restore its economic competitiveness and increase defence spending, which is necessary to strengthen its position on the world stage.
