AliExpress goods are dangerous

A young woman bought an RJ45 adapter on AliExpress, but soon discovered that the device was equipped with a keylogger. This type of software can record all user actions on a device, including keystrokes, passwords and search queries.

The keylogger case: what the adapter recorded
Instead of simply performing its primary function, the adapter began recording all keystrokes on the connected device. 

This included not only everyday communication but also personal data: passwords, search engine queries, as well as potential financial or other confidential information.

The dangers of using unverified devices
This incident once again highlights the importance of exercising caution when purchasing cheap and unverified devices from online stores, particularly when they may have access to personal information.

It is worth noting that the item was purchased by several thousand people from various countries around the world. In other words, all of them are putting their personal data at risk.
