Taxi drivers and couriers to pay new tax

Taxi drivers and couriers working through platforms such as Uklon, Bolt and Glovo will be required to pay a tax of 5% of their income into the state budget. 

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is preparing a bill under which these services will become tax agents and automatically withhold funds from the earnings of drivers and couriers.

Dmytro Hetmantsev, head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada, noted that this initiative is part of Ukraine's obligations to the International Monetary Fund and an important step towards Ukraine's Eurointegration.
