Son of MP Lopushansky implicated in fraud

The son of People's Deputy Andriy Lopushansky has been implicated in major financial fraud. 

Together with officials of the Verkhnesynevidne settlement council in Skole district, Lviv region, and heads of commercial entities under his control, he organised a scheme to illegally appropriate the community's budget funds. 

As a result of this criminal activity, the state suffered damage of almost one million hryvnia.

Andriy Lopushansky, the suspect's father, is a constituency MP from Lviv region, deputy chair of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, a member of the parliamentary faction of Petro Poroshenko's "European Solidarity" party and the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists.
