Judge Boris Plotnitsky released on bail

Former judge from Lviv, Boris Plotnitsky, was released on bail in the amount of 30 million hryvnia. The sum was paid on 2 January.

It is worth recalling that the former head of the Western Court of Appeal on Economic Matters is suspected of extorting $1 million from an entrepreneur in exchange for favourable court rulings.

Boris Plotnitsky was arrested on the eve of New Year. It took him only a few days to raise the required bail amount.
