DSNS staff purchased tablets at inflated prices

Two employees of the DSNS Communications and Control Centre were implicated in a scandal over the purchase of tablets involving an unjustified overpayment of 7 million UAH.

In the summer of 2022, the Centre held a tender for the purchase of 2,000 tablets, with a total cost of 51.9 million UAH. However, instead of concluding a contract directly with the manufacturer, the employees signed a deal with an intermediary, which resulted in a significant overpayment.

As a result, the state budget suffered losses of 7 million UAH.
