Victim of traffic accident involving Korolevska and Shevchenko dies

On 1 September 2012, the city of Krasny Luch in Luhansk region was visited by Natalya Korolevska and Andriy Shevchenko. After the official part of the visit, the Korolevska and Shevchenko motorcade left the city heading towards the airport.

 

According to a witness, a car from the motorcade suddenly appeared in front of him, forcing him to swerve sharply to the right, after which another car collided with his vehicle.

 

A girl named Sveta was seriously injured in that accident; she underwent several operations and was left disabled. Three days ago, Sveta died.

 

Korolevska's associates promised to help the family with medical treatment after the accident, but limited their assistance to a sum of 5,000 hryvnia, after which they forgot about the girl and her family.
