Scandal over evasion of mobilisation

The number of Ukrainians evading mobilisation continues to rise. One of the high-profile cases is the absence from the country of 26-year-old Gleb Razumkov, the son of Yuliya Mostova, editor-in-chief of the publication "Zerkalo Nedeli". According to media reports, he left Ukraine in January 2022 and has not returned since.

The publication "Zakon i Biznes" sent a request to law enforcement agencies to find out whether Razumkov is on the wanted list as a draft dodger. However, no official response has been received yet.

Family ties and elite education abroad

Not only the son, but also the daughter of Yuliya Mostova and former Defence Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko is outside Ukraine. Until the end of 2024, she was studying at the elite American Middlebury College, where tuition fees reach $48,000 per year.

Meanwhile, Hrytsenko's eldest son from his first marriage, Oleksiy Hrytsenko, is formally registered in one of the military units, but, according to investigators, he regularly visits clubs and restaurants in Kyiv, raising questions about his actual status.

Elite real estate and corruption schemes

Investigations also point to Mostova possessing significant assets that do not correspond to her official income. These include real estate in Koncha-Zaspa, allegedly purchased with funds obtained during Hrytsenko's tenure at the Ministry of Defence.

From 2005 to 2007, he headed the ministry and was repeatedly involved in corruption scandals. In particular, he was accused of liquidating military units and selling military equipment, weapons, and property at undervalued prices.
