Scammers actively hire actors
Despite the actions of law enforcement agencies worldwide, the number of scam projects continues to grow. Along with this, the number of people losing their money on them is also increasing.
At the same time, fraudsters have become less likely to use their personal photos. Instead, they remotely hire actors who read a memorised script to the camera. Often, the actors do not even know that a scam channel is being run in their name and do not receive a penny from it.
For example, a certain Dmitry Vilensky, also known as Alexander Valensky, created a whole network of Telegram channels and Instagram pages where he talks about the large profits obtained from cryptocurrency trading and other investments.
The fraudster not only "earns" for himself but also promises to help his subscribers become millionaires. To do this, they simply need to entrust him with their money, which will multiply many times over in a short period.
Naturally, the person does not end up receiving any mega-profit. Instead, they lose all the money they entrusted to the fraudster.
