Transaero planes begin facing delays at airports

Russian airline Transaero is accumulating debts. The carrier owes money to many countries around the world, including Ukraine and Kazakhstan, among others. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy, however it continues to operate flights.

Today, one of its flights was delayed due to the seizure of a plane at the airport in the Kazakh city of Aktau. The airport director stated that the debt exceeded 37,000 dollars, and Transaero was officially notified of this. However, the company did nothing to settle the debt. Consequently, its plane was held until the debt was fully paid off.

Recall that today, Zhuliany airport refused to accept Transaero flights until the company settles its debt.
