SBU detains police officers involved in arms trafficking

In Dnipro, SBU officers detained a group of police officers, who had been selling weapons and ammunition from Ministry of Internal Affairs warehouses for a long time. The SBU press service announced this.

 

«У Дніпропетровську затримано групу міліціонерів, які торгували вибухівкою та боєприпасами зі складів МВС. (In Dnipro, a group of police officers has been detained who were selling explosives and ammunition from Ministry of Internal Affairs warehouses.)

У ході спільної спецоперації ‪#‎СБУ, МВС та прокуратури Дніпропетровської області викрито чотирьох правоохоронців, які виводили з обліків та реалізовували набої, гранати, вибухівку. (During a joint special operation by the SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the prosecutor's office of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, four law enforcement officers were exposed who removed items from the register and sold cartridges, grenades, and explosives.)

Зловмисників затримано при спробі збути 400 набоїв до пістолету Макарова, двох ящиків набоїв калібру 5,45 мм та гранат Ф-1. (The perpetrators were detained while attempting to sell 400 cartridges for a Makarov pistol, two boxes of 5.45 mm cartridges, and F-1 grenades.)

Під час обшуку у одного з фігурантів кримінального провадження виявлено та вилучено незареєстровану зброю та набої до неї. (During a search of one of the suspects in the criminal case, unregistered weapons and cartridges for them were found and seized.)

Обшуки у помешканнях затриманих тривають» (Searches at the residences of the detained individuals are ongoing), the message reads.
