Russia does not take Trump's threats seriously

According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, the Russian authorities do not perceive US President Donald Trump's threats of potential intensified economic sanctions as a serious danger, assessing them as insignificant.

Despite current economic difficulties and significant losses, the Kremlin is confident that it can withstand the conflict in Ukraine for at least another year.

Russia continues to insist on the recognition of its territorial changes, the cessation of Ukraine's cooperation with NATO, and a reduction in the size of the Ukrainian army. Experts believe that Trump's threats are more likely viewed by the Kremlin as part of a political game rather than as real threats to Russia.
