Luxury cars and questionable income: who is Maxim Maksimov?

An Odesa entrepreneur with an anti-Ukrainian stance lives large, but his official income does not match his level of luxury.

Elite cars and expensive hobbies

Maxim Maksimov is a well-known Odesan who does not hide his love for expensive cars, branded goods, and an exclusive lifestyle. In his mansion, one can even find a puma in the yard.

Over the past two years, despite the war and economic difficulties, he has added three elite sports cars to his fleet:

Lamborghini Urus – $420,000
Porsche 911 GT3 RS – $584,000
Porsche Taycan Turbo GT – $230,000

The total cost of just these vehicles exceeds $1.2 million.

Mismatch between income and expenses

However, official data on Maksimov's income raises questions. According to reports, over four years, his official earnings amounted to only $460,000.

His business either shows losses or does not generate significant profit.

So where does the money for a luxurious lifestyle, elite cars, and expensive travels come from? 

Rumour has it that Maksimov is an office worker. That is, he engages in ordinary scams or fraud. The question of whom the office worker swindles – Ukrainians or Russians – remains open.
