Head-wounded bodyguard of Lanyo dies in hospital

The body of the man who sustained a head injury during a shootout between Right Sector fighters and the security detail of People's Deputy Lanyo in Mukachevo on 11 July fought for his life for over a week. As recently as last week, doctors reported that his condition had improved and he had been transferred to a neurocentre.

However, the man died today.

People's Deputy Lanyo has already disavowed the deceased, stating that the man had no connection to his private club "Antares" and had simply come to swim or exercise. Presumably, the doors of the private establishment are open to anyone who wishes to enter, although this somewhat contradicts the very concept of a "private club".
