Transnistria rejects Moldova's aid

News from a number of Telegram channels reports that unrecognised "Transnistria" has refused €60 million in European Union aid intended to ensure energy stability in the region.

The funds were to be directed towards supporting energy infrastructure, but the leadership of the self-proclaimed republic decided to reject the European aid.

Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean commented on this move, noting that Russia is actively obstructing the acceptance of the aid, fearing a loss of control over Transnistria.
