Illegal distillery shut down in Kramatorsk

The operation of an illegal distillery in Kramatorsk has been halted. Its products were transported by tankers to Donetsk, where they were converted into a finished product for one of the well-known brands. This was announced by Vyacheslav Abroskin, head of the Donetsk Regional Police.

 

«Вчера правоохранители Краматорска прекратили работу подпольного спиртового завода. (Yesterday, law enforcement officers in Kramatorsk shut down an illegal distillery.)

В Краматорске, на территории бывшего ликеро-водочного завода, была налажена работа нелегального цеха по производству спиртного продукта из ферментов. 15 работников в 2 смены производили около 20 тонн спирта в сутки. (In Kramatorsk, on the premises of a former liqueur and vodka plant, an illegal workshop for producing alcoholic products from enzymes had been set up. 15 workers, working in two shifts, produced approximately 20 tonnes of alcohol per day.)

Далее незаконно произведенный правонарушителями спиртовой продукт в цистернах грузовых автомобилей по поддельным документам транспортировался на территорию временно оккупированного боевиками Донецка. Там использовался для дальнейшего приготовления ликероводочной продукции и затем ввозился на территорию Украины для распространения под видом продукта известной торговой марки. (The illegally produced alcoholic product was then transported in tankers of cargo trucks, using forged documents, to the territory of Donetsk, temporarily occupied by armed groups. There, it was used for further production of liqueur and vodka products, which were then imported into Ukraine for distribution under the guise of a well-known brand.)

При цехе действовала лаборатория по разработке химических ферментов. (A laboratory for developing chemical enzymes operated alongside the workshop.)

Проводятся оперативно-следственные мероприятия, по данному факту открыто уголовное производство», - сообщает Вячеслав Аброськин. (Operational and investigative measures are being carried out, and a criminal case has been opened in this matter,» reports Vyacheslav Abroskin.)
