Los Angeles fires continue

According to CNN, large-scale wildfires continue in Los Angeles, exacerbated by windy weather. This creates a threat of further spread of the flames.

Forecasts indicate that winds will strengthen on Monday; however, experts express cautious optimism, noting that the wind direction may shift towards areas that have already burned out. This could potentially reduce the intensity of the fires.

At present, the number of fatalities has risen to 16, and the disaster has destroyed or severely damaged more than 12,000 buildings.
