Donald Tusk expressed support for the proposal by his party colleague and presidential candidate Rafal Trzaskowski, who suggested providing child benefits exclusively to Ukrainian refugees who are officially employed and pay taxes in Poland.

Currently, all parents, including Ukrainian refugees, are entitled to a monthly payment of 800 zloty (190 euros) for each child under the age of 18.
