Poland to deport foreigners

Poland is preparing to launch a process of systematic deportation of foreign nationals who have broken the law within the country. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

According to Tusk, he has instructed the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration, as well as the Minister of Justice, to prepare an operational plan for an immediate response to crimes committed by foreign nationals. He noted that anyone who, while in Poland, takes advantage of the country's hospitality and grossly violates the law will be deported.

These decisions, Tusk assures, will take effect in the coming days and will be aimed at combating organised crime, as well as preventing illegal migration. The Prime Minister emphasised that Poland is in a special situation, given the growing flow of migrants observed at the border with Belarus, which is allegedly being instigated by the authorities of Lukashenko and Putin.

Tusk also reminded that Poland has taken in more than two million refugees from Ukraine, and stressed that the country is not ready to take on additional migration burdens.
