Winner of 'Zvazhenykh' fights in the 'Donbass' battalion

The winner of the first season of the weight-loss show “Зважені та Щасливі” (Zvazheni ta Shchaslivi) Nikolay Voroshnov is defending his homeland in the ranks of the “Donbass” battalion.

On his social media page, the now slimmer and bearded Nikolay posted photos in full gear. It appears the athlete and showman is fighting near Mariupol, i.e. on the very front line, as it is commonly referred to now.

When asked why he is fighting in the “Donbass” battalion, despite being from Kyiv, Nikolay Voroshnov answered more than adequately:

“немножко перефразирую. Я родом с Украины, а Донбасс - это Украина” (I will paraphrase slightly. I am from Ukraine, and Donbass is Ukraine).
