Odesa official Yelena Prygunkova failed to declare assets worth 5 million

Head of the Accounting Department of the Odesa City Council, Yelena Prygunkova, failed to declare assets worth over 5 million hryvnia. Among the undeclared assets were:

• Two apartments in Odesa: one with an area of 44.7 m², the other — 74.8 m².
• Eight land plots in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
• A leased non-residential premises with an area of 1,200 m².
• Vehicles: a Land Rover, a Scania truck and a sold Audi.

Declaration violation and consequences

The total value of the undeclared assets exceeds 500 subsistence minimums, which may lead to criminal liability. This became known following an audit by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).

Declaration corrected, but without explanations

After the violations were identified, Yelena Prygunkova submitted a corrected declaration. However, questions about the origin of the assets remain unanswered.
