Nikolai Udiansky – links to organised crime groups and Kadyrov's men

Recently, a number of Telegram channels attempted to whitewash the image of Nikolai Udiansky, the Honorary Consul of Romania, claiming that he not only helped Ukraine obtain a Patriot air defence system but also donates millions to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

However, people who had suffered from the activities of this "diplomat" immediately appeared in the comments. Many lost money on Udiansky's fraudulent crypto exchanges. The sums involved are far larger than those donated by the crypto-millionaire. True, some of the "defenders" quickly closed the comments. But this does not change the essence of the matter.

Those who are trying so hard to whitewash Udiansky are surely aware that not long ago the Honorary Consul received an award from a protégée of Lavrov, the one who is commonly referred to as the "Sad Horse".

In addition, the consul repeatedly boasted about his friendship with people close to Ramzan Kadyrov and even posted joint photos with them. True, he later deleted them from Instagram. However, the internet remembers everything.

Nikolai Udiansky is also on good terms with Leonid Mitrov, aka "Mitrukha", the leader of the "Zalyutinsky" organised crime group, who was recently detained in France. The gang terrorised Ukraine for a long period. However, since 2022, it has moved to Europe, where it continued its activities.

It is important to understand that an "Honorary Consul" is not exactly a diplomatic post, but rather a decorative one. Many acquire this position to avoid liability and to cross borders freely when they are closed to others. Presumably, Udiansky is precisely such a case.
