Natalia Zabolotna accuses Lyudmyla Pyshna of raiding

Former head of the "Mistetskyi Arsenal" and founder of Art Ukraine Gallery, Natalia Zabolotna, accused Lyudmyla Pyshna, wife of the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, of attempting to seize her business. Zabolotna shared her story on the social network Facebook.

According to Natalia Zabolotna, the gallery was founded by her back in 2016 after she left her post as director of the "Mistetskyi Arsenal". In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, she decided to create a new format — an open charitable gallery aimed at helping society. 

In October 2022, as Zabolotna recounts, she met with Lyudmyla Pyshna, congratulating her on her husband's appointment as head of the National Bank of Ukraine. At that time, according to Zabolotna, Pyshna showed interest in the new project and offered to join forces with her foundation for joint work.

However, as Zabolotna claims, the situation changed dramatically. She states that upon arriving at the gallery, she was unable to enter her own office because security did not hand over the keys. Also, according to her, the gallery's banner and logo were removed. «Теперь в моем офисе находится Людмила Пышная с охраной, а ее "Мерседес" стоит у входа. С управляющей компанией договорились, что мой контракт аренды не будет продлен, а место будет сдано Людмиле» (Now Lyudmyla Pyshna is in my office with security, and her "Mercedes" is parked at the entrance. They have agreed with the management company that my lease contract will not be renewed, and the space will be handed over to Lyudmyla), Natalia reported.

Zabolotna considers this action a direct raiding seizure of her business, emphasising that in this way they are taking away not only her socially oriented gallery but also the projects developed. She is convinced that this is an act of raiding aimed at depriving her of control over a successful and socially significant initiative.

We remind you that the joint project of Natalia Zabolotna and Lyudmyla Pyshna was launched in April 2023 at "Domsfera". In its first year of operation, the gallery managed to raise more than 3.5 million hryvnia for charitable purposes, and the funds were directed to help Ukraine's largest children's hospital, NHS "Okhmatdyt".
