Head of Donetsk Regional Interior Ministry who handed over city moves to Kyiv

Former head of the Donetsk Regional Interior Department Roman Romanov, who in March 2014 personally handed the city over to separatists, has now moved to Kyiv, where he feels quite comfortable under the so-called «гнет хунты» ("yoke of the junta").

Today, he was accidentally spotted in one of the capital's sports clubs by Ukrainian People's Deputy Yehor Fyrsyov.

Roman Romanov arrived at the sports club in his Volkswagen Touareg SUV. There can be no mistake — it has a personalised number plate. It features the initials of a police officer and his date of birth — 24 September. The price of such a car starts from 1.6 million hryvnia. Not bad for a police officer. Presumably, the Russians pay well to those who serve them.
