Campaign against Vera Brezhnaya begins

Famous singer Vera Brezhnaya is celebrating her 35th birthday today. However, the artist's celebration has been overshadowed by an impending smear campaign. The singer's name has appeared in a public petition alongside those of Ani Lorak and Svitlana Loboda.

The author of the document noted that all three singers regularly perform in Russia. By doing so, some of the artists are humiliating the honorary title of "Honoured Artist of Ukraine," which specifically applied to Svitlana Loboda, from whom the petition's author demands that the President revoke this status.

What measures will be demanded against Vera Brezhnaya remains to be seen. It is not excluded that she, like Ani Lorak, will have to reduce the number of her performances in Ukraine.
