Fuel was being adulterated at the burning oil depot

New versions of the causes of the oil product fire at the depot in Vasylkiv are emerging. Anton Gerashchenko published information today, obtained from an unnamed source, stating that the cause of the fire was the transfer of oil products from one tank to another using a portable pump, as well as the failure to observe elementary safety measures.

Сначала лопнул шланг, продукт попал на этот насос и понеслась. (First, the hose burst, the product got onto this pump, and it all went up in flames.)

Такого не было бы, если бы эти специалисты при этой перекачке имели при себе порошковый огнетушитель, как это положено по технике безопасности. (This would not have happened if these specialists had a powder fire extinguisher with them during this transfer, as required by safety regulations.)
