Zakarpattia enterprises begin attracting migrants

Foreign workers are planned to be recruited in Zakarpattia to address the shortage of labour resources at local enterprises. This was reported by the regional military administration (RMA).

One of the first examples is a furniture manufacturing plant, which has already initiated negotiations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The plant's management intends to employ 160 workers from the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

According to RMA representatives, cooperation with migrants is viewed as a step towards stabilising the region's production capacities in the context of a deficit of local labour resources. The enterprise has already begun the process of processing the necessary documents to ensure the legal employment of foreign specialists.
