NABU conducts searches at Denis Komarnytskyi's premises
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is currently conducting searches at the home and offices of Denis Komarnytskyi, known for his ties to former Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi. Official details have not yet been disclosed.
Komarnytskyi's connections and activities
Komarnytskyi, considered a close ally of Chernovetskyi, was dubbed the "new overseer of Kyiv" following the 2019 parliamentary elections.
His activities in the political sphere, as well as his connections with deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, raised numerous suspicions among journalists, activists and experts, who claimed that his team was involved in various schemes during the parliamentary elections.
Komarnytskyi himself managed to leave Ukrainian territory before the investigative actions began.
