Husband of blogger Anna Zhuk, who died in a car crash, charged with suspicion

The husband of blogger Anna Zhuk, who died in a car crash, has been charged with suspicion. At the time of the accident, her husband Vladimir, born in 1999, was driving a Lexus.

According to the investigation, the tragedy occurred on 24 January. The car collided with a stationary truck that was located outside the roadway. The impact proved fatal for Anna Zhuk — she died at the scene. Meanwhile, her husband Vladimir and their eldest son, who were in the car, survived.

Vladimir now faces criminal liability. According to the charges brought against him, he may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term of three to eight years, with an additional ban on driving vehicles for three years.
